Science to Action Day

As part of the Global Climate Action Summit, hosted in San Francisco, our Executive Director Darlene Chiu Bryant was invited to speak on a panel at Science to Action Day and discuss Inclusive Economic Growth. The panel also included Dee Lawrence, Cool Effect and Project Mirador, Alessandra Jerolleman, Jacksonville State University, and Chris Brown (moderator), PolicyLink.

The goals of Science to Action day are to build connections between scientists and decision makers to accelerate science-to-action; outline a science-to-action agenda that describes how science can be better leveraged for decisions and planning; and deliver to the Global Climate Action Summit commitment from the science community on how to support adaptation and mitigation actions.
