GlobalSF proudly partnered with the U.S. Commercial Service for the 2019 SelectUSA Spinoff in San Francisco. The two-day event welcomed delegates from 20+ countries to San Francisco where delegates attended a series of panel discussions and fireside chats introducing the unique ecosystem of the San Francisco Bay Area while providing key insights on Investing in San Francisco.

Panel discussion and fireside chat topics included:

  • Bay Area Accelerators by Allan Young (Pavo IoT)

  • San Francisco Bay Area VC Panel with Rodolfo Gonzalez (Foundation Capital) & Siri Srinivas (Draper Associates)

The SelectUSA Delegates also participated in site visits to Airbnb, Autodesk, Verizon Innovation Center, and Zendesk. The second day focusing on the San Francisco Bay Area Ecosystem for Startups concluded with a pitch session in which select companies had the opportunity to pitch in front of VC’s from around the San Francisco Bay Area.
