100% WOMEN MADE

“We believe that every woman has the power to be the hero of her own amazing story. When we celebrate, support, and inspire one another, glass ceilings shatter and the future brightens.”

Une Femme is a premier wine brand founded by brother-sister duo Jen and Zach Pelka.

Powered and inspired by fierce females, Une Femme introduces a unique take on Champagne and sparkling wine for a new generation. Celebrating the dreamers, doers, hustlers and winners, Une Femme launched in February 2019 as a line of simple, refined and elegant wines. Une Femme Wines is made in partnership with powerful women in the wine world, including investors, winemakers, distributors, designers and more.

The brand features sparkling wines made in partnership with only women winemakers in Champagne, Napa, and Sonoma. Every wine in the portfolio supports charitable organizations that improve the lives of women. The brand’s first wines included “The Juliette,” a grower-producer Champagne made from hand-harvested, organically grown chardonnay and pinot noir grapes from premier cru and grand cru vineyards in Le Mesnil, Ambonnay & Bisseuil from Gonet-Médeville, “The Callie,” a crushable sparkling rosé from beloved Napa winemaker Samantha Sheehan, and "The Piquette," a juicy, light-bodied, low-ABV still red that comes from the second pressing of 100% organic pinot meunier from the beautiful van der Kamp vineyards of Sonoma Mountain. Most recently Une Femme launched “The Betty,” a bright, versatile, refreshing sparkling California white. The grapes for this wine are thoughtfully sourced from sustainable vineyards across the Central Valley of California, and its 100% stainless steel fermentation provides a delightfully soft and delicate finish.

Jen has been named Forbes “30 Under 30” for Food & Wine, Details “Digital Maverick”, and a Cherry Bombe “It Girl.” She was a recurring guest as a secret diner on Season 1 of Bravo TV’s “Best New Restaurant”, and a guest on Season 6 of “Top Chef.” Jen won an IACP Award Winner for Best Culinary or Brand Site in 2012, and was a James Beard Award nominee for Best Food Coverage in a Food Publication. She is an alumna of Stanford University and the London School of Economics, where she studied the Philosophy of Science.

Whether toasting to a dream job, a first home, or progress towards a better world, Une Femme is raising a glass to women raising the bar.
